Family portraits, but make them a little weird. In the best possible way.
In this two-part workshop, we’ll use mixed media to create our own quirky, character-filled sculptures inspired by artist Laurie Mitchell. Think tiny versions of your favorite people, your slightly ridiculous family group, or that pet who is absolutely the real star of the household.
We’ll spend our first session sculpting our figures, then come back for a second session to add paint, color, and all the little details that bring them to life. The result? A one-of-a-kind handmade keepsake that captures a little personality and a whole lot of love.
This class is recommended for teens and adults, but younger kiddos are welcome with an adult. No sculpting experience necessary, just a willingness to experiment and have some fun!
Because honestly, the best family portraits are the ones with a little character.
