Open Studio is a non-structured time for art-making, creative experimentation, and material exploration.  Non-structured means that there are no lessons taught.
Artists have the freedom to use art supplies to implement their own ideas and create their own masterpieces.  Artists have access to some of the art materials in our space, including,  acrylics, watercolors, oil pastels, colored pencils, markers, recyclable materials, glue, scissors, construction paper, and art paper - plus some fun items here and there.
We encourage artists to bring any specific items they require for their projects, as we cannot guarantee that we have all items required for each project.

Bring your headphones and create solo, or take this opportunity to connect with other artists.

Anyone ages 3-Adult may participate in Open studio times.  Parents/Guardians of kids under 12 will need to stay with them through the art-making process.  Ages 12-17 may be dropped off as long as the staff has appropriate completed paperwork on file. A studio teacher will be there to supervise,  help with supplies, and answer any questions.

Single Membership: One person
Family Membership: Any combination of 4 people
The drop-in rate is $5 per person, subject to space available

Students will be responsible for tidying up their art area before they leave (putting away markers, rinsing out their cups, etc).  Respect for all materials, teachers, and others is a must.  We want the students to take pride in their artwork and studio space.
Repeated violations of this rule will result in the suspension of Open Studio privileges.
